The Alliance (Employer Health Care Alliance Cooperative) is an employer-owned and directed not-for-profit health care purchasing cooperative. We negotiate contracts with a broad array of health care providers on behalf of our employer members so their employees and families have the freedom to choose providers that best meet their needs.
We also advocate for information to compare health care cost and quality, and use this information to help health care providers improve their care. We publish the QualityCounts™ report as part of that mission.
